Hospital Nurse

Job Description:

A Hospital Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting doctors in medical procedures, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. They play a critical role in monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and coordinating with healthcare teams to deliver the best medical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, recording vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications, injections, IVs, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Assist in medical procedures and surgeries.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and update patient charts.
• Ensure infection control and hospital hygiene standards are met.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first-line care.
• Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
• Licensing: A valid nursing license as per state/country regulations.
• Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, patient care skills, teamwork, time management, and empathy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialization in critical care, emergency nursing, pediatrics, or any other nursing specialty.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
