Dental Doctor

Job Description:

A Dental Doctor is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing oral health issues while ensuring the highest standard of patient care. They work closely with patients to promote good oral hygiene and provide restorative and cosmetic dental treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and infections.
• Perform dental procedures, including extractions, root canals, fillings, and crowns.
• Prescribe medication for pain relief, infections, or preventive care.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Take and analyze X-rays for accurate treatment planning.
• Work with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental treatments and technology.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Prior experience in a dental clinic or hospital is preferred.
• Licensing: A valid dental license as per state/country regulations.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and knowledge of modern dental procedures and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialization in orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, or any other dental specialty.
• Experience with digital dentistry, laser treatments, or cosmetic dental procedures.
